D is for drum...oh and for donuts and dancing!

We had a great time today. We did our circle and singing, then talked about the letter D and the sound it makes. Then we read "The Digging-est Dog" After that we went and made drums by coloring with crayon them painting them. They loved the painting and did not want to stop. After that we had a special donuts snack which they all requested seconds on. Then we finished putting our drums together and went into the living room to dance with them. They were so cute dancing together and holding hands. After that we read a book about a drum and drummed along to it. Then we practiced writing the letter D. It was a delightful day!
